Sketched up some quick rough thumbnails for bigger painting/illustration ideas I want to do for my thesis. Pretend that green/yellow in the triangles is metal-leaf, ok, shh use your beautiful imaginations to make these not look stupid.
But yeah. I have plans. Hopefully.
I hurped and doodled some of the couples of JACFC. There are way too many awesome character couples on that site ugh.
First is the Turners, Desmond and Eleanor, and I don’t even know why Desmond is wet - I’m assuming he jumped in a lake somewhere - and Elle is in the process of rethinking their marriage or something, whatever she does this like every Tuesday.
Then Leo and Jackson, aka Jackeo. Scruffy gay wizard baaaaabiiiiieeeessss that is all I have to say ok shhh don’t judge me step off bro I do what I want
Playing around in Photoshop with dual brushes to see what kind of texture I can get. I really like it so far, but I’m starting to realize all my people look silly. Well, to me, anyway. I need to do more life studies.
I’ve had some seriously annoying art block lately since my advancement review this past Friday (I passed, btw, so aww yeah boyeee, guess who gets to gradumate~) , and I feel bad for not posting art in a while, so I scanned some old sketches from my sketchbook. I’m pretty sure I haven’t posted these yet, but I have a poopy memory anyway so whatever. These are heavily inspired by things like Paperman, Iron Giant, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, and bushy eyebrows.
I’m slowly becoming less and less lazy with my drawings. And I still like my sketches more than my finished works… although I don’t really have that many “finished” works to compare to.

So me and my friend, Erin here on tumblr, got to go see a Chippendales performance that came into town. When she told me this was happening, my first response was “Hell yeah, I can bring my sketchbook and sketch the dancers! 8D” And then I realized how much of a loser I am sjkjdfhkjj OH WELL. The men were fit and good humored, and Erin got a lap dance and it was hilarious. Most of it was hilarious, actually, but I find most things amusing I guess.
Anyway, enjoy some stripper sketches I guess. My moleskin smells like Red Stripe and body glitter.
EDIT: lol notice how none of them have faces WELL THOSE AREN’T IMPORTANT, AMIRIGHT LADIES? Or something idk it was hard enough drawing their bodies while they were doing all that girating and grinding and ass jiggling.
The rest of my hourlies for this year’s Hourly Comic Day. The night-end of my day was so full of awesome fun with friends that I only managed to crank out some quick little durpy doodles in my sketchbook. I wanted to redraw them and post them, but I’m already late posting these, so durpy pencil sketches will have to do. Sorry for the poor quality on some of them - my scanner is a piece of dookie.
Also, that second “8PM” one was actually 9PM. Oops. Me and a couple of my friends got stuck on dancing along to that “Smang It” song and it was way too much fun. From then on was ridiculousness at a Japanese restaurant, where-in lobster tails were worn as noses and decorative, fried rock shrimp heads were put on chopsticks, decorated, and puppeted. Idk wat even.
Taking a mini break from my homework to sketch a couple characters from a story I’ve been working on off-and-on. It was just going to be a doodle, but it’s starting to turn into something bigger. I’ll work on it during breaks from this homework, because I’m sure it’s gonna make me wanna flip tables again soon.
