Literally me right now trying to break this horrendous art block in order to draw something. Anything. Funks are stank and terrible, yo.
The first of many holiday toons I’ll be making (belatedly) as gifts. This one is for a certain dino-dragon-loving little boy I know in my most favorite system. I’m leaving it black and white so he can color it every shade of orange he wants.
I took some photos one super-crazy-foggy morning on my way to work to use as reference photos later, then decided to do a couple speedpaints of them. I always think ghosts and Slendermen never take advantage of foggy days like that. Wasted opportunities to scare me poopless, man.
One of my final poster designs for my undergrad internship with FSU Student Life Cinema - did a The Birds themed poster for their awesome Classics block of movies. This is my favorite poster that I’ve done, even if The Birds is complete nightmare fuel.
If you’re in Tallahassee, FL, (especially if you’re an FSU student, cuz you get in for FREE), go check out the SLC after the holidays to see some great movies and live events.
Because of how hectic my final semester as an undergrad has been, I haven’t been as good as I usually am about having a sketchbook around with me everywhere and have basically been sketching on any scrap of paper I have on me. Half of these drawings are on a print-out I had with me at work, the other half are in my old moleskine.
Either way, this is another alien race design I’m playing around with for a webcomic idea, but I don’t have a name for them yet. I’ve just been staring at them and saying “byeeeoooorrrrrrd” so that’s all I got.
reblerging for my main-blog crowd <3
Did a quick color palette test on the spider-gorilla-lookin’ thing from before, and scanned in some sketch studies. I enjoy drawing giant, knuckly hands more than I thought I would.
Playing #pokemon white again. My #frillish just evolved into a #jellicent and, according to the Pokedex, its favorite food is lifeforce. Wat. #art #sketch
